The issue of whether contemporary theatre demands a new type of actor was the focus of the symposium "Actor 2000 - Global Player or Local Hero?", which was organized as part of the SPIELART 1999 festival program by the Cultural Office of the City of Munich; the Siemens Cultural Program; and Spielmotor München e.V. The book "Global Player/ Local Hero" reflects on and consolidates the results of the symposium.

Theater etcetera

"Theater etcetera" is a collection of theoretical material that was part of the SPIELART Theater Festival Munich in 1997, 1999 and 2001. A volume was published for each festival with essays on the respective themes.
