As a theatre-audience we come together under otherworldly circumstances, sometimes in a blackbox as breaths next to each other, sharing an enormous body, sometimes as active participants of a game – an intense collective experience, in which some aspects of personhood are comfortably lost or dormant.
GAMESNIGHT asks artists and non-artists to meet outside of their professions and public personas, in play, possibly the most elemental part of personhood. About every half hour there will be opportunities to join new games and new groups of players. The bar is open as well. Everyone can come and go as they please.
We are looking forward to form connections with you in this wonderfully semi-fictional setting!
Biography
Thalia Schoeller is a young theatre-maker from munich. They work as a director and dramaturg and is studying fine arts. Thalia holds the belief, that theatre is political, and organizes spaces that strive to work against exclusion of young people from all backgrounds and people without access to art-academies. Thalia Schoeller ist a member of the intersectional queer feminist artists-collective queer:raum.
