3. Data collection on our website

Cookies

Some of our web pages use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain in your device's memory until you delete them. These cookies make it possible to recognize your browser when you next visit the site.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. Alternatively, your browser can be configured to automatically accept cookies under certain conditions or to always reject them, or to automatically delete cookies when closing your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies which are necessary to allow electronic communications or to provide certain functions you wish to use (such as the shopping cart) are stored pursuant to Art. 6 paragraph 1, letter f of DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure an optimized service provided free of technical errors. If other cookies (such as those used to analyze your surfing behavior) are also stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in "server log files". These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.

4. Analytic tools

We measure the reach of our website with Matomo, an open source tool that we operate on our own server.
If necessary, a cookie is set on the user's terminal device, which can be used to track activities and, for example, recognize recurring visits. The IP address of the user is automatically shortened so that it is no longer possible to identify individual persons. Among other things, the approximate geographical location, terminal device, screen resolution, browser and pages visited, including the length of stay, are evaluated.
Insofar as we obtain the consent of the user, the processing of data is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) UAbs. 1 a) DSGVO. Otherwise, it is based on Art. 6 para. 1 UAbs. 1 letter f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is the optimization of our website, the improvement of our offers and online marketing.

Objection to data collection

You have the option to prevent actions you take here from being analyzed and linked. This will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and improving usability for you and other users.

5. Newsletter

Newsletter data

On our website, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to one or more newsletters. The system kulturkurier.de of the data kulturlink ag (Berlin) is used as the newsletter system. In this case, the so-called double-optin method is used for legally compliant and privacy-compliant design. The potential recipient first receives an e-mail with a confirmation link. Only after confirmation the address will be added to the mailing list. You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data as well as the use of your address for the despatch via the "unsubscribe link" at the end of each newsletter. Further information can be found here: http://hilfe.kulturkurier.de/kulturnewsletter/ The personal data that are transmitted to the data controller when ordering the newsletter is determined by the input mask used for this purpose. When subscribing to the newsletter, we also store the IP address of the computer system used by the person concerned at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration, as assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP). The collection of this data is necessary in order to understand the (possible) misuse of an affected person's e-mail address at a later date and therefore serves as legal safeguards for the controller. The personal data collected in the context of registering for the newsletter will be used exclusively to send our newsletter. Subscribers to the newsletter may also be notified by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or registration, as might be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter or technical changes. There will be no transfer of the personal data collected as part of the newsletter service to third parties. For the tracking of opening and click rates, we use so-called tracking codes in the newsletter (but not in the system mails for subscribing and unsubscribing) to record the opening of newsletters and the opening of web links. The capture is done in a pseudo-nymed storage by replacing all personal data (for example, the e-mail address) with a key figure (pseudonym). As a result, we do not store any personal data together with the usage data such as the opening of the newsletter or the opening of web links. Furthermore, it is ensured that a combination of these data can not be done later. If you as a recipient want to object to this pseudonymized tracking, you can unsubscribe from the list via the opt-out link at the end of each newsletter.

6. Freundeskreis

On our website, users are given the opportunity to become part of the SPIELART Circle of Friends in order to be able to use additional content on the homepage and to be informed by newsletter about upcoming events and promotions. For this purpose, the so-called double-optin procedure is used for a legally secure and data protection-compliant design. Here, the potential recipient first receives an e-mail with a confirmation link. Only after confirmation will the address be included in the distribution list. You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data and the use of your address for mailing purposes at any time.

Which personal data is transmitted to the data controller when registering for the circle of friends can be seen from the input mask used for this purpose. When registering for the circle of friends, we also store the IP address of the computer system used by the data subject at the time of registration, as assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace the (possible) misuse of a data subject's e-mail address at a later point in time and therefore serves as a legal safeguard for the controller. The personal data collected in the context of a registration to the circle of friends will only be used for the registration on the corresponding subpage of the homepage as well as for sending our newsletter. Furthermore, subscribers to the newsletter could be informed by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a related registration, as could be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter offer or changes in the technical circumstances. No personal data collected as part of the newsletter service will be passed on to third parties. For the tracking of opening and click-through rates, we use so-called tracking codes in the newsletter (but not in the system e-mails for subscription and unsubscription) to record the opening of the newsletter and the calling up of web links. The recording is done in a pseudoynmized storage by replacing all personal data (e.g. the e-mail address) by a code (pseudonym). In this way, we do not store personal data together with usage data such as the opening of newsletters or the calling up of web links. Furthermore, it is ensured that these data cannot be merged at a later date. If you as a recipient wish to object to this pseudoynmized tracking, you can unsubscribe from the list via the opt-out link at the end of each newsletter.
