CULTURAL POLICY AGAINST MISTRUST | FOR TRUST

In times of multiple crises and growing social polarization, the cultural sector is also under pressure: culture wars, shrinking budgets, and the economization of public life threaten its autonomy. At the same time, mistrust of public cultural funding is increasing, while political narratives are losing coherence. This event asks how art and culture can re-legitimize themselves under these conditions – beyond efficiency logic and instrumentalization. Through keynote impulses and a collaborative workshop, participants will explore current challenges, new lines of argument, and future-oriented models of cultural policy.
