3 Questions for Elke Jan

I. Which topic is very important to you right now?

The topic of “discrimination against people with disabilities” is very important to me. This topic is not only evident in my freelance work, but also in my own writing. For me, dealing with discrimination doesn't just mean writing to reduce discrimination, but also living/learning together: non-disabled people learn from people with disabilities, and vice versa.

II. Do you have a ritual? Can you describe the ritual for us?

My daily ritual is to write down my dreams in the morning, as I work with lucid dreaming.

III. Which book is with you at the moment?

I don't read books, I devour books. My favorite book, which is also my life motto book, is by Richard Bach: DIE MÖWE JONATHAN (JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL). It's about constantly working on/improving yourself: Always strive for more, don't stand still.
