Talk Series SOME KIND OF TOMORROW
The past few years in the Western world – and especially in Germany – have been marked by uncertainty and wavering convictions. 80 years after the end of the Second World War, there is talk of reintroducing conscription, we are witnessing a rise of the extreme right, and international institutions are being sabotaged – raising the pressing question of what exactly we have learned from the past. This year’s festival programme addresses the present, but also looks to the past for points of reference for future action, whether in theory or in artistic practice. The accompanying series of talks aims to broaden our perspective.
